Description
These basic tweezers are a handy addition to any First Aid Kit. Lightweight + practical, they help with quick tasks when precision matters - especially when fingers can’t do the job.
When We’ve Reached For It
We reach for these tweezers whenever tiny debris needs careful removal—like a splinter from wood or a small stone stuck in a child’s finger. Recently, I removed a splinter from my own finger after getting one from pulling up our deck.
First Aid Uses
Remove small debris like glass, dirt, or splinters from wounds
Useful for tick removal, depending on preference - tick card included in Ouch + Soothe Kit
Perform minor tasks where hands are too large
Note: Not recommended for removing bee or wasp stingers—use a firm card edge to gently scrape the stinger away to avoid releasing more venom into the skin - the tick card included in the Ouch + Soothe Kit is ideal for this.
How to Use
Clean the area first with water
Use tweezers gently to remove debris
Wash area again - apply a plaster if needed
Wash the tweezers after use
Not recommended for removing bee or wasp stingers—use a firm card edge instead.
